OMG… It’s been a little while, and the Todd & Pony crew knows it. And, for the first time ever, Todd, Pony and Julie are drinking coffee… not booze!

As an added bonus, parts of this recording were captured on video! Although the gang’s filming skills aren’t the best, so who the hell knows if any of it is actually usable.

Julie is unemployed and becoming a guitar hero expert. Todd hasn’t really had any cooking disasters to report. Pony, well, we’re not really sure what the hell he’s been doing… but that’s okay because neither does he.

There’s some surprises from a couple of devoted listeners! Todd in Canada sent a Canadian care package, and David in Denver filmed some candid video at Denver Pride of Pony acting like a girl.

The Todd and Pony Show hiked down to Denver with the mobile studio for Denver’s PrideFest 2008 and their first-ever on-location show!

The mobile studio apparently has a few kinks to work out for better audio, but this show just had to be posted because we finally got to have a guest on that we’ve talked about since almost the beginning! Hooray for Denver singer/songwriter Court Clark!

Todd & Pony got to chat with Court before his first time performing on the main stage at PrideFest, and of course there’s the regular segment – “How Gay Are You” – which was appropriate since Court re-defined Julie’s theme song!

Never mind Pony who tends to be a bit of a dingbat himself, accidentally revealing to himself critical plot points in his favorite television show.

It’s been a while since a more “recent” show has been aired, but hey, those of us at the Todd & Pony Show live to surprise.

Toddy had a show that both opened and closed (not to mention an encounter with a famous person!) since the last recording, Pony has a new job and Julie has some WONDERFUL news… that we somehow aren’t allowed to hear.

Of course, we’ve got Julie’s Crackpot Sexpot Crockpot (or is it Sexpot Julie’s Crackpot Crockpot?) that simply takes the cake when it comes to pure, unadulterated, uncontaminated and uncorrupted experience when it comes to dealing with raw, vigorous man meat. And we mean chicken.

With the holidays rolling around, it’s sort of time to start thinking about family… so who’s your daddy?

Toddy and Pony are off onto a few travel adventures. Pony is heading to Arizona for Christmas and all the drama that accompanies a gathering of extended family. Toddy is heading to Texas for the holiday, but apparently his folks are a bit more mellow these days.

But before that, Pony is heading to Denver for some quality time with a few friends and Toddy is leaving for a business trip. Stay tuned for all the updates, which will most likely include detailed accounts of the dare-some duo’s adventures.

With all this talk about Christmas, when is too soon for the music? When is too soon for decorations? Do you prefer to head out with the masses of asses on “Black Friday” or avoid the mess? And, who are you planning to spend the holidays with, will it be your real family or your “chosen” family?

The usual comedy ensues, as would be expected on the Todd and Pony show, but with an added bit of hilarity with our guest star Michael on board.

The best part comes when the four attempt a little parody of America’s Next Top Model (which, oddly enough, is sort of a parody of itself…). Toddy and Pony are the two finalists, but only one of them will be come America’s Next Top Podcaster!

The team talks about famous haunted landmarks in Portland (and Julie did a GREAT job of picking ones close to Pony’s house).

It’s followed up with a séance that’s so foolish and pointless as to be worthy of scornful laughter, just as you’d expect from the Todd & Pony Show. It’s even more silly with Hot Toddy as the ceremony’s kingpin!

As cuckoo as the séance was, the team actually WAS visited by the spirit of a flight attendant! Or was it a schnauzer? Maybe it was just a flying dog…

Of course, there’s the usual shenanigans in Pony’s life, including a new release from James Roy and some cool surprises on the show as we learn that Pony really has no idea how to work credit cards.

You’ll never believe what kind of trouble Todd got into with his toothbrush. (We’d love to tell you here, but you really just have to listen.)

We subject our guests, Marc and Jess, to the routine torture of “60 Seconds Of…” in order to learn a bit more about them. And you thought all New Yorkers talked fast? Ha!

The show wraps up with a NYC Quiz that was conceived, developed and written by Toddy, so you know it’s worth two dozen LOL’s!

Todd has been up to no good, Julie is about to get busy, and Pony is up to his usual nonsense. However, we do have a brand new song for the show this week, crafted by Julie herself. Who knows, maybe next is a full-length album track! Dance remixes! Radio play! Music video! Or maybe not.

Pony takes a global IQ test and doesn’t do half bad, but that’s only because Toddy didn’t subject him to movie questions. Toddy takes a “Safe Cooking” test… you’d better listen so know know whether to accept an invitiation to Toddy’s house for Thanksgiving dinner!
